Aidonia, J.O.P & Bounty Killer Invades Ocho Rios

After blazing a trail at the inaugural staging of the LIME sponsored Soca Junkie All-Island Carnival followed by the grand opening of Club Ville in Montego Bay last week. High riding deejay Aidonia along with the J.O.P (Navino, Deablo, Shokryme) family and Alliance boss Bounty Killer invaded Ocho Rios on Saturday night.

With anticipation riding high the packed house at the Margaritaville night spot was treated to a splendid display of lyrical artistry as the J.O.P clan took the stage in the wee hours of Sunday morning following earlier performances from newcomer Khago and Subkonshus recording artiste Konshens.
 
Aidonia’s improved stage craft was evidence as he commanded the crowd.. “when yuh see bad people weh yuh fi seh” and they obliged with a resounding “mooooove”, a popular slang which he is been credited with coining. While the ladies clamoured for a touch of the ‘Jack Hammer’ deejay and new recruits Navino and Deablo the trio delved into their growing catalogue much to delight of the amped crowd.

With morning on the horizon it was time to make way for the closing act, the Warlord Bounty Killer who did not disappointment, stamping his class on the event and proving why he is indeed the ‘Poor People’s Governor’.

Aidonia and the J.O.P camp will depart the island for assignments in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean in the coming weeks.
