Dancehall star Assassin aka Agent Sasco returns with more flavor, more melody and more in store for his fans. Internationally known for his dynamic delivery as a dancehall deejay, the artist is now adding to his repertoire with the soulful sounds of a singer. Just in time for Valentine's Day, Assassin releases "Love You" - a poignant promise of love to his lady, accompanied by sweet, acoustic guitar riffs that bring the lyrics to life.
This is the first song Assassin wrote while teaching himself to play guitar after breaking his leg while playing soccer in September, 2010. Taking a brief break from stage performances not only gave the versatile entertainer a chance to heal but to also hone his craft. Now with this new, softer sound from such a big voice, Assassin remains 'wicked and wild' for the ladies.
"Love You" is now available on iTunes and its accompanying video hits airwaves just in time for the season of love. "I'm excited to introduce my fans to this other facet of my talent," reveals Assassin. "I like to be versatile so it's time I focus on some other projects I've always wanted to do. And my new single is perfect for Valentine's - I hope everyone feels the love."
Assassin is now working on his new album, which is scheduled for release later this year. He is also teaming up with his Boardhouse Records crew on the Bad Dog Riddim, which will be released soon.
