Upon further investigation it was revealed that the rumours were indeed true. However the cause of the fire is still unknown, though many believe it could be the work of arsonist.
Kartel is yet to break his silence on the matter. It's still unclear if the house was insured.
Only last year former Gaza member Blak Ryno apartment was set ablaze and his family home shot up following his sudden departure from that camp.
Currently, speculations are rampant that it could be a reprisal; while others believe it could be link to the recent death of a man in the Waterford community.
Efforts to reach both Blak Ryno and Vybz Kartel for a comment proved futile.
