Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Julian Jones Griffiths, the manager of Jamaican dancehall star David 'Mavado' Brooks.
Police say he is needed in a case that is before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court.
In a release, the Constabulary Communications Network said Griffiths is accused of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in an incident which occurred about 6:00 p.m. along Belmont Main Road, St. James on Friday, July 22.
The police say several attempts have been made to locate Griffiths, including visits to addresses listed for him.
In addition, persons have been interviewed in an attempt to find him.
The matter is currently before the court and one person has already been charged. The case is scheduled for Thursday, September 15.
Julian Jones Griffiths or anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the ACB at 1.876.926-5855, 926-9579 or 926-9596.
