Popular selector turn artiste Tony Matterhorn, currently embroiled in a lyrical warfare with comedic duo Twin of Twins and Beenie Man has released a brand new single titled, 'Purple Messages' that is guaranteed to stir some controversy.
The single produced by Darkcide International & Freeze Productions sees the man-from-Mars venting his frustrations about the excessive Blackberry broadcast messages that has become a trend locally.
According to Matterhorn, "Blackberry is not for every little fool who a try act like dem big", the 'Dancehall Duppy' singer further explains that the practice of sending a broadcast message has become an annoyance and nowadays a lot of what is being disseminated is not necessarily informative but simple a method of self promotion by some subscribers of the service.
In the song Matterhorn also take jabs at event promoters, the self proclaimed worl' boss Vybz Kartel and his former business interest before urging the perpetrators to remove themselves from his contact list with the lines "why oonu nuh delete oonu blasted self before oonu type out them purple messages.."
The song featured on the Menke Riddim is slated for official release in the coming days. However the full compilation with Blak Ryno, Chedda, Ding Dong, ZJ Wah Wa, Ninja Kid, Onton, Shades & Reack and Matterhorn is now available for purchase on iTunes. [CLICK TO BUY ON iTUNES]
