Lisa Hyper Happy With Progress Of U.S Tour

Former Portmore Empire first lady Lisa Hyper is overjoyed at the crowd response to her performances during her US club tour so far.

"On Monday night I was in Long Island, I performed on two shows in New Jersey the night before, and I did a show with Vegas and Demarco in North Carolina. I also did one with Vegas in Virginia. I have a show next week Tuesday in the Bronx, and that night is gonna be my belated birthday party so it ah go amp up," she said in a release this week.

She will also do gigs in Philadelphia and Orlando over the next few weeks.  She has also reunited with MC Nuffy, and she will be teaming up with him to do a rehearsal for Sting 2011. When she returns to Jamaica in December, Lisa Hyper plans to release a video for the popular Jam2-produced single, Roll Deep, which she performed on CVM TV's Onstage a few weeks ago.

"When I did 'Roll Deep' on Onstage, I got a lot of positive feedback so I went ahead and shot the video right before I started this tour. I will also be shooting a video for the single, Power, when I return. Mi have a couple of new songs too, mi lost a bagga people with my 'Fly Like Kite' song on Lena British new riddim, and I have a song called 'Up inna the Ceiling' plus I have completed my album which will be released after Sting, so mi ah come mi run Jamaica by next year," she said.
