D'Angel To Release Controversial Novel Titled 'Love Triangle'

Prominent Dancehall diva, Michelle Downer, more popularly known as D’Angel will unveil an in-depth novel involving a girl, two guys and a lot of relationship drama. But it’s not the threesome you might be thinking of.

D’Angel will unveil her debut book, Love Triangle in February, a book already dubbed “the most controversial dancehall novel.” The book marks the first part of a two-book deal with Pageturner Publishing House as she will also release an autobiographical entitled, Break Free later this year, which will talk about her many successes and controversies on and off stage.

Love Triangle talks about three contrasting individuals, Dylan, Brandy and Malcolm involved in a steamy back and forth relationships. According to D’Angel, via press release, her new novel is far from PG.
“This is not a kiddy story, this is a story for the mature audience, much like some movies and music are for those of a certain level of maturity, and no, it’s not porn, soft or hard, but we could call it Dancehall with a Soca undertone – interestingly pulsating,” she said.

Dancehall observers have already jumped to conclusion that Love Triangle represents a guise tell-all book of her well-documented affairs with prominent Dancehall superstars, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. However, she steadfastly denies that the book in any way refers to her past relationships with the veteran artistes. Nevertheless, the Blaze singer remains optimistic regarding her Love Triangle’s prospects, despite admitting to nervousness.

“I’m a little nervous, not about the book, I know I did a great job at that, and I’m sure my fans will love it, but it’s still my first book, so it’s almost like the first time on stage, it can be a little unnerving,”she said.

Love Triangle will be available in book stores across Jamaican, including Sangster’s Book Store, Kingston Book Shop. An official launch day for her book, as well as signing day, willbe announced soon.
