DJ Calico Releases Ultimate Soca Mix With 'Soakin Wet'

Fast rising Darkcide International selector and Suncity 104.9FM radio jock  DJ Calico on Friday afternoon released his much anticipated soca mix ahead of the Jamaican Carnival season. 

The disc titled "Soakin' Wet - The Ultimate Soca Mix", showcases the popular jock unraveling his musical depth and meticulous mixing skills combining several popular soca hits for the year with an ample supply of dancehall remixes to create a high energy compilation that is sure to satisfy lovers of that genre.

Released on the Darkcide International imprint the project features some of the Caribbean's biggest names including: Popcaan, Konshens, Blak Ryno, Ninja Kid, Tifa, Khago, Beenie Man, Machel Montano, Bungi Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons, DJ HP, ZJ Wahwa, Kes The Band among a plethora of others.

Despite the immense workload to create the project the cd is available free-of-cost online for all to download. This disc is DJ Calico's second release since the start of  2012.  Earlier this year he released 'Menke Master' a multi-genre compilation racking up in excess of 8000+ downloads via social networking websites.

Meanwhile, after serving up a scintillating set at the recently concluded 'Guinness Menke' held at Mico University College gymnasium DJ Calico is now the official resident jock of the very popular 'Guinness Hamma Fridaze'.
