Ninja Kid Lends Support To Bramma's Gorilla Bash

Saturday Night saw the unveiling of the much talked about Gorilla Bash hosted by dancehall deejay Bramma at the Duhaney Park Community Centre in Kingston.

The well attended event featured some of the biggest stars in entertainment including: Konshens, I-Octane, Kiprich, Chino, Laden, Stephen McGregor, Freddie McGregor, Ghost, producer Markus Myrie, Elephant Man among others.

Despite having other professional commitments, resurgent deejay Ninja Kid also took time out to lend his support and made his presence felt on Saturday Night hitting the stage after Digicel Rising Star finalist Jermaine Michaels.

Armed with a bevy of new material, Kid wasted no time delving into his mega hit 'Have Nuh Gal Like We' on the Christopher Birch produced Symphony Rhythm which immediately got the crowd in a tizzy as lighters and gun-toting fingers filled the pack venue. Now with the crowd at his command, Kid reeled off several of his other hits including 'Menke' the chart bubbler 'Tongue Ring Shot' before closing his set with the soca infused 'Taste & Buy' making way for other billed acts to follow.

"I heard about what Bramma was trying to do for his community and despite have another commitment on the night, I had to come and show my support because as we all know the children are the future so as artiste we need to support each other and be positive role models for the next generation." - a seemingly elated Kid intimated.

Bramma, working in conjunction with the Duhaney Park Community Centre Committee says the concert is aimed at providing food, refreshment and educational items of donation to kids in the community.
