Popular radio jock and Darkcide International selector ZJ WahWa on Friday afternoon departed the island for the U.S mainland, where he's expected to represent the Kingston based sound system at this year's staging of the Spring Flossing Boat Ride aboard the Ben Franklin Yacht.
The event hosted by Flip Money Records will unveil this Saturday, April 28th at 401 North Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia and promises to be a spectacular extravaganza.
With a full roster for the upcoming Summer season, the 'Man with the Hamma' will return to the island on Sunday April 29th for the highly publicised Double Shots beach party in Portmore alongside group members Acid and Sunjock Calico of Suncity 104.9FM .
Earlier this year Wahwa also landed a nomination for the coveted 'Sound/Selector Of The Year' in the Jamaica Star People's Choice Award. Despite being introduced to the Zip FM airwaves only a year ago, ZJ Wahwa has been making steady in-rows within the various Diasporas, garnering a large following and securing a number of high profile assignments.
