After almost two years, Garrison recording artiste Blak Ryno and Alliance selector Boom Boom have finally buried the hatchet. The two recently forged a peace treaty via a mutual friend outside a popular weekly event.
Since then, they have been observed paying homage to each other via microphone shout-outs at various events and Ryno was even spotted once conversing with Alliance leader Bounty Killer in a parking lot.
When contacted by Prism Marketing Boom Boom confirmed that the animosity had been quelled, "well me and Ryno neva really have nutten__ but we neva was frens like that__ right now everything good ah music me a deal wid. The past is the past, but ah the future me a look to__ music and unity me say."
Similar sentiments were echoed by Ryno, "from wah day me a do road hard, me and Boom Boom good, a music him say and a dat me say too, the ting fix up so mi just a take on the streets and a tun up back mi career___ seeeet deh."
Prior to this new development, Ryno and Boom Boom have been at odds since September 2010, when it was alleged that Boom Boom was hospitalized after a CD that was
sent to be played was not done so by the alliance jock. Its further alleged that affiliates of Blak Ryno then proceeded to assault the jock beating him unconsciously. An accusation Ryno adamantly denied.
Two weeks ago both men were again rumoured to have been involved in another altercation, a claim that has been dispelled as simple rumours. Blak Ryno is currently promoting his latest single 'Ice Cream' for which a video has been released. The 'Why Life Nuh Sweet' singer is also expected to shoot another video for 'Whine Me' in the coming days.
