K.D. Knight's Law Firm To Represent Busy Signal

Embattled dancehall star Glendale Goshia Gordon better known as Busy Signal has secured the services of some major legal muscle to fight his extradition case.

Queen's Counsel K.D. Knight confirmed late Tuesday evening that his law firm, Knight, Junor and Samuels, has been retained to represent the entertainer.

"I am expecting him to be in court on Thursday, and between now and Thursday, I will make a determination as to the approach on that day," the high profile lawyer said in a statement.

Busy Signal’ is scheduled to appear in the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court on Thursday May 24.

Meanwhile, accomplished music producer Donovan Germain offered some words of encouragement, “It’s unfortunate what has transpired with Busy Signal but if it’s one artiste that deserves a second chance, it’s Busy Signal”. - he said.

The Penthouse Records CEO made the comment on social networking site, Facebook.

Busy Signal, currently managed by Shane Brown, recorded his latest album Reggae Music Again at Penthouse Records. The entertainer was arrested on an extradition warrant on Monday at the Norman Manley International Airport.
