Tommy Lee To Headline STING, Launch Set For November

Gothic deejay and Dancehall's newest sensation Tommy Lee, is set to headline the 29th staging of STING at Jamworld Entertainment Centre in Portmore, St Catherine on December 26th.

A protege of incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel the red hot Tommy Lee known for song such as 'Uncle Demon' and 'Psycho' has been enjoying immense success since the start of 2012.

According to Isaiah Laing, director of Supreme Promotions, "Tommy Lee is really the person this year that everybody is going to be focusing on,"

Laing predicts that this year's staging will see one of the biggest turnouts, this following dwindling numbers in previous years. "Wi bringing back the show to the level that the people want. This year, look for a bumper crowd," - he added.
Laing intimated that Sting 2012 launch is set to get on the way in November.

Laing said he and his co-director Howard 'Heavy D' McIntosh saw Lee one year ago, before he was an established act.
"Last year, we went for the young artistes and the young generals; they are mature now," he said. "One of them was Tommy Lee. A lot of people weren't even focusing on him then, but Heavy D and I knew what he had in him. We said this artiste going to be one of the baddest artistes within the dancehall."

Emerging on the scene in 2011, Lee who hails from the volatile community of Flankers, Montego Bay has catapulted to stardom and is currently showing no signs of slowing down. Meanwhile this Friday Tommy Lee is expected to premier the official video for his controversial single 'Uncle Demon'.
