Reggae recording artiste Chuck Fenda known for the hit 'Gash Dem & Light Dem' over the weekend got the scare of his life when Canadian immigration authorities swooped down on him after he landed at the Trudeau Airport in Montreal.
While at the airport the entertainer whose given name is 'Leshorn Whitehead' was stopped by police personnel and interrogated regarding several crimes he allegedly committed ranging from murder, rape and possession of firearm. Thankfully moments later it was revealed that Fenda was the victim of a case of mistaken identity. It's understood a man bearing the same name and similar attributes is responsible for the vicious acts.
Fenda was subsequently released as the Canadian lawmen continued their investigations. Despite the ordeal the Jamaican singer says he will continue his work in the North American country with aspirations that the authorities there will have the matter resolved speedily.
Later that evening Chuck Fenda took to the social media tweeting "Bless up all my fans I am sure you heard what happened to me last night when I arrived at Trudeau Airport in Montreal, Canada, they held me for murder and trafficking, after all their processing it was a case of mistaken identity! The Poor Defender loves you all."
Over the weekend Fenda also released the official video for the Notice Productions produced 'It Hard' currently riding high on the local airwaves.
