P.Diddy Rocks Kingston, Tony Matterhorn Wins $1.8M

Prominent American music mogul and rapper, Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs on Friday night invaded Jamaica's capital for the inaugural staging of his Bad Boy Sound Clash

The event held at the Lime Lite Night Club in Half-Way-Tree was organised in only 24-hours by Downsound Records and Supreme Promotions  in collaboration with the rapper's label. The hasty event featured a top tier sound clash and after party at the the Lime Light Entertainment complex.

Upon arrival Diddy hit the stage thanking the Jamaicans for their warm patronage while stating he was happy to be in Kingston for the first time. This was followed by an energetic set from the seven times platinum rapper further bolstered by cameos from Jamaica's own Beenie Man, Ninja Man, Kiprich and Flippa Mafia, all of whom that had the crowd in a frenzy.

Diabolic deejay Tommy Lee Sparta also made an appearance moments later.

This was followed by the highly anticipated sound clash which saw veteran selector Tony Matterhorn copping the coveted J$1.8 million (U$20,000) cash price after defeating Bass Odyssey and Foota Hype. Hosting duties for the night were handled by Portmore's M.C. Nuffy.
