Internationally acclaimed Dancehall & Reggae singer, Busy Signal is not out of the woods just yet in his extradition case as new charges have emerged in the matter.
Busy, who was released from a Minnesota penitentiary last November, has been charged with obtaining passports with a false name in relation to the case. He was scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident's Magistrates Court in Kingston on Tuesday.
The charges stem from Busy's initial arrest in the United Kingdom last May as law enforcement officials suspected he had been traveling using false identification. The entertainer is alleged to have obtained three Jamaican passports under the name, Reanno Gordon while traveling abroad on business. His birth name is Glendale Goshia Gordon.
Busy's manager, Shane Brown insists this matter should be put to rest, saying his constant travels across the world require him to exhaust several passports, maintaining the artiste never held three passports at once. Brown also stated that his client, who's legal name is now Reanno Gordon following a deed poll, hopes for this matter to finally be put to rest given he has already served his debt to society.
