Currently one of Suncity FM's most sort after radio personalities, Sunjock (SJ) Calico aka the 'Sunboss' is gearing up to debut his first official mixtape for 2013.
Slated for release in the coming days the project sees SJ Calico unraveling his musical artistry serving up his own unique blend of the popular dancehall genre interspersed with interludes, hip hop remixes, exclusive skits and dubs capped by some precision mixing.
The compilation aptly titled 'SUNBOSS' adapts the moniker by which he's known on air. The disc will be produced and distributed under the Darkcide International imprint.
This Portmore native and member of the Kingston based sound system Darkcide International has been credited with propelling the careers of several established and emerging Dancehall and Reggae stars through his radio show and mixtapes. Feats which continually make him a favourite among members of the local music fraternity.

Heading into the Easter holidays, SJ Calico and the Darkcide team have been confirmed for several high profile event including: Cargill's, Marco Polo, Hydroxy, Colour Rain, Slap Weh Saturdays among a cadre of others. Plans are also afoot for some overseas assignments later in the year.
