Beenie Man’s current visa issue has forced the self-proclaimed king of the dancehall to reschedule dates for his planned upcoming U.S Tour.
The dancehall doctor who was recently denied a United States work permit was prohibited from performing at the 2015 staging of Best of the Best held late last month.
A representative from the deejay's camp said that U.S promoters have agreed to postpone the show dates until the situation is resolved.
Beenie Man was expected to hit several U.S cities as part of his upcoming summer tour.
“I want to apologise to the fans, it was a situation beyond my control and the promoter’s control,” Beenie Man said regarding the Best Of Best concert.
A rep for the deejay told the media that he was denied a work permit to perform in the United States.
“I don’t know why he was denied the work permit again but he couldn’t get it sort out in time for Best of the Best,” our sources said. “Hopefully he will get the issue dealt with because he has some bookings in the States for the summer.”
Beenie Man joins the growing list of Jamaican entertainers who continues to have visa woes.
