American rapper Rich Homie Quan is in the island utilising the facility at Geejam Studios for the recording of his soon-to- be-released album.
According to the rapper, who revealed his location to the public via social media, working at the Port Antonio, Portland-based recording studio generates a different vibe.
"I'm in Jamaica as we speak, man. yea, man, working on album, different thoughts. yea, man, real trees, real water, album on the way," he posted to his Instagram.
The rapper recently severed ties with veteran producer Birdman and his Rich Gang group, opting to manage and self produce his projects. He is also promoting a new mix-tape called If You EverThink I Will Stop Going In Ask RR.
Rich Homie Quan broke on to the scene in 2013 with hit record Type of Way. He then followed up with My Nigga and Lifestyle among others.
His latest hit single, Flex Ooh Ooh Ooh, currently sits at number 31 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
