Tommy Lee Sparta To Be Questioned By Police High Command [LISTEN AUDIO]

Dancehall deejay Tommy Lee Sparta who was barred by the Police High Command from performing at Reggae Sumfest  has been labelled a gangster by the lawmen.

According to the Montego Bay Police the artiste was prohibited from performing at the festival as based on information gathered he posed a threat to the lives of persons in attendance.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in charge of the St James division, Steve Mcgregor says Tommy Lee Sparta is second in command of the Sparta gang based on intelligence. The senior cop added that the level of gang activities was what forced them to advice the event organizers that they would not be in a position to guarantee the safety of patrons in attendance if he was allowed on stage.

Since the revelation Lee Sparta has taken to social media threatening to take legal action against the authorities for financial compensation.

“To my loyal fans and friends! I regret to inform you that I will not be performing at Reggae Sumfest tonight because the police high command has refused me permission on stage! This act is in breach of The Charter of Rights and Constitution of Jamaica,” Tommy Lee said.

“How can the police prevent a citizen from engaging in legitimate employment? My attorney will be filing action in the Supreme Court for financial compensation. I was ready to explode tonight.”

The Sparta Boss in the presence of his attorney is expected to be questioned by the lawmen in the course of the week.
