Raytid Goes International, Snoop Dogg & Jermaine Dupri Logs Onto 'BLAH DAFF'

Dancehall artiste Raytid currently enjoying the best summer of his career with the singles 'You A Mi Baby', 'Raytid Say' and 'Blah Daff' has once again been shot into the international spotlight thanks to a pair of instagram post courtesy of American rappers Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri.

One of the post features acclaimed street dancer Shelly Belly dancing to the song in a mismatched face-off with an oversized female while the other showcases fellow street dancer McGyver doing some acrobatic moves while clinging to the body of dancehall queen Sher-Rumbaar. The rappers somewhat startled yet  seemingly impressed with the Jamaican dance moves decided to post the clips to their respective Instagram accounts.

Since then both videos have gone viral garnering several hundred thousand fews in the process. This is not the first time the 'Blah Daff' dance craze has gone viral has it was recently featured on American celebrity gossip website Mediatakeout.com.

An obviously pleased Raytid admitted he is very appreciative of the highlight being given to the song and dance by the American entertainers citing that it has pumped new life into the project.

"Big up Snoop and Jermaine.. since the video buss I have been featured on several media outlets like ONSTAGE, Entertainment Report, a U.S Magazine along with performing at several big shows such as Zip Soca Fete, Manchester Agricultural & Industrial Show, Reggae Sumfest, STAR Awards and Marco Polo. Right now 'Blah Daff' is the hottest girl song for summer... but don't take my word for it.. just ask the streets."

Featured in the June edition of the U.S based Birdie Magazine, the deejay recently made his official debut on African television. The video premiered on Cape Town Television’s ‘Ekse Show’, a kwaai and funky youth programme made for youths using content provided by youth! The show is made up of a variety of interviews, music videos, short films and aired during weekdays.

Locally, the sing-jay continues to amp the promotion for his singles, ‘Raytid Say’ courtesy of Blaqk Sheep Music along with, ‘You A Mi Baby’ on the Playback rhythm for Frankie Music and ‘Wuk Wuk’ produced by Jay Crazie Records on the Blahdaff Nation rhythm.
