Reggae singer Dann-I, known for songs such as 'Time Nuh Wait' and 'Honey Lips' recently joined forces with dancehall duo Twin of Twins for a new project slated for release soon.
The project, a collaborative efforts dubbed 'Shoes Like Mine' sees Dann-I lending his vocals to the single that is sure to raise a few eyebrows with its thought provoking lyrics, a trait that has become synonymous with the Twins from their previous offerings.
An accompanying video has also been shot and is expected to be released in the weeks ahead. The visuals were filmed throughout the Kingston and St. Andrew Metropolis under the guidance of the Twins.
Meanwhile, Dann-I recently premiered the official video for his single 'Put Another Reggae Pon Top' on national television, the song has been making significant in-rows on the international scene becoming one of the most heavily rotated track in the European Reggae market.
Shot by director King Simeon Di Great the video is one of Dann-I's best efforts to date and advocates for the return of Reggae to the fore. The carefully crafted composition also pays homage to several Reggae stalwarts.
