As Dancehall superstar Mavado finds himself in the lyrical cross-hairs of a number of rival deejays with each passing day__ the Gullyside boss is taking no chances and has sent for reinforcement.
Following the release of 'Round Corna' a diss track by Vybz Kartel aimed at him, Mavado has enlisted the services for renowned Dancehall producer Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor a former ally of Kartel to assist in crafting a red hot response titled "Mr Dead". The lyrically potent track is sure to draw the wrath of the Worl' Boss.
Mavado appears to have done some research unearthing a number of media clips aimed at sullying the reputation of the Gaza Boss. Since the release of "Mr. Dead" social media has been abuzz with activity.
Here are a few lines from 'Mr Dead",
“Any step wah yo step a must be the warder a step__ headless body when the brawla a step___ So mi kill off the f** left the Gaza a fret __ Place take over mi buy him kids them ice cream,” Mavado deejays alluding to Kartel's current prison situation.
He continues, “Them no bad a pon them cell a tell say Kartel a batty man in a number two cell,” The song also include a clip from radio personality and dub poet Mutabaruka reading a letter from Vybz Kartel about authorities searching cell block number two where he is housed at the prison.
