Since returning from a double stint in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio Reggae Firebrand Nesbeth has wasted no time getting back in studio to continue churning out inspirational recordings.
Last week the singer teamed up with controversial selector turn producer Foota Hype for another mentally stimulating composition titled 'Success Story', produced on the Foota Hype Music imprint and featured on the Motherland Riddim, the song tells a tale reminiscent of Nesbeth formative years underscoring his trials and triumps in life and the treacherous music industry.
A story that not only many Jamaican but people across the diaspora can relate to, though not yet officially available via iTunes and other digital platforms the single has been getting a lot of attention especially on the Reggae circuit with the potential of becoming another monster hit for the Rastafarian crooner.
Here are some of the lyrics :
"Born and mi grow inna place weh me never get no respect,no.....
Never get no good education can't get no big cheque,no.......
From me born an me grow, everybody weh me know inna distress,yea...
And it so easy for a youth get a big teck. Or addicted turn a victim...
And a nuff man fold it out... cause them couldn’t hold it out
And nuff man sold it out... cause them couldn't go without"
Meanwhile, Nesbeth who has been on a path of mentoring the imparting positive values across various sectors of society recently gave a stellar performance at the Police Federation Conference in Montego Bay.
The singer is booked to appear at the Caribbean Village Cultural Festival on June 25th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
