Bounty Killer To Headline Dominica LIME Creole In The Park Festival

Jamaican superstar and leader of the Alliance Bounty Killer is set to headline the 2011 staging of the LIME Creole in the Park Festival, Dominica.

The pre-independence celebration has become a staple of the island's social calendar and is slated to get on the way from October 24-27. The event will also feature fellow headliners Kes The Band alongside some of Dominca’s best youngand established talents.

According to the Dominican media, this year’s CITP will see patrons paying increased costs on all days, with the first and second day now set to cost U$3 and the last two U$5, from last year’s price of U$2.

Country Manager for LIME Jeffrey Baptiste has promised that, as usual, U$2 from each day will go to the forestry division for upkeep of the gardens, with U$1 of the price of admission each day going to the Division of Culture and the other two dollars of the admission price for days 4 and 5 going to offset the costs associated with the bigger acts.

Meanwhile, on the musical front Bounty Killer is currently embroiled in a lyrical warfare with longtime nemesis Beenie Man. The two have released stinging counteractions the latest on the Jazzwad produced 'Valley Of Death Riddim'.
