Mavado Rocks Europe & Prepares For New York City

Prominent Dancehall singjay, Mavado will take another major step in his ascendancy to international recognition as he prepares to perform alongside some of hip-hop’s biggest stars.

Mavado, who’s signed to DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music Group, has been enjoying his best spell overseas with performances across North America, Africa and the Caribbean as well as a recent 10 city tour of Europe which included an appearance during a stage show in France headlined by Canadian rap superstar, Drake. Additionally, Mavado’s single, Survivor (featuring Akon) was added to New York hip-hop station, HOT 97’s playlist while efforts such as Delilah and Settle Down continue to garner airplay overseas.

Now, the Gully Gaad will ready himself to share the stage with several of hip-hop’s young and established act. On April 30, Mavado will perform a show in Manhattan, New York alongside emerging hip-hop stars such as Tyga, Wacka Flocka, French Montana and Travis Porter as well as established acts Busta Rhymes and Fabulous.

Meanwhile, Mavado continues to assert his authority on the local music scene as he’s recently released singles such as Action Pak, Come Round and All Faces.
