Gully Boss and Dancehall superstar Mavado hasn’t been fond of the ongoing feud involving past and present members of the Gully Squad and wants the quarreling to stop.
The We The Best recording artiste has stepped forward to address recent incidents involving former Gully Squad members, Flexx and Savage as well as current protégé, Chase Cross. This after reports emerged of an incident outside Weddy Weddy Wednesdays in Kingston involving each of the original Gully Squad members.
During a recent radio interview, Mavado revealed his disdain for the recent issues amongst his current and former friends; insisting that all the bickering needs to stop.
“Gullyside is a family and it’s not like a family because of fame and riches. We are family because we all share the same journey. But throughout the journey it’s not every man going to stay. Because even the little thing that went down with Chase and Flexx, it need to just done no matter where it start,” Mavado stated in a recent radio interview.
Flexx left the Gully Squad late last year after a falling out with Mavado, later signing with Hapilos Entertainment while calling the self-professed ‘Gully Gaad’ a ‘heartless’ individual. Savage followed suit a few months later after citing lack of opportunities as a part of Mavado’s crew.
Meanwhile, Mavado is in the United States recording material for his new mixtape as well as an upcoming studio album.
