Controversial Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel is set to go on trial on November 5 in relation to the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
Kartel, whose real name Adidja Palmer, is also charged for the murder of St. Catherine businessman Barrington ‘Bossy’ Burton.
That matter is set to be heard on October 29.
The entertainer has been in custody since September last year.
Although he has received bail in relation to the murder of Burton, Kartel cannot take up the bond since he has been remanded in connection with the murder of Williams.
A bail application was expected to be made Friday, July 20th but his lawyer Valerie Neita-Robertson did not, as she said she was upset that the case was shifted to another judge.
She said she will make the bail application sometime between the two trial dates.
Despite being incarcerated the Gaza boss continues to dominate the dancehall scene riding high with singles such as, Back To Life and So Much Woman produced by U.I.M. and Head Concussion Records respectively.
