As ongoing tension between Aidonia and Mavado continues to escalate following the release of an alleged diss track by the 4th Gennaz boss titled 'Fat .40'; sound system selector turn producer Foota Hype has stepped in to share his thoughts on the matter.
Speaking with 876ENT, Foota Hype who is also the producer of the alleged diss track says he was not aware of what Aidonia had recorded on the project and was only notified after a sample of the song got leaked online.
Foota said, though he would have preferred to hear the recording before it was released he has no problem with it. while citing that if Mavado has a problem with Aidonia's utterance then he should lyrically address the matter.
"Remember I was the one who instigated the war between Mavado and Popcaan and Poppi back out of it and mash up the whole ting... so them owe me a war... Now seeing Aidonia come on the Dark Knight Riddim and talk up a bagga tings... so if Mavado have a problem with that him should just address Aidonia lyrically and let the people know what is happening."
Foota continued, "The two a dem a mi friend so mi nah pick nuh side inna the war ... a music me a deal wid... the riddim is available for Mavado anytime he wants it"
Hype, says the full compilation of songs on the project is slated to be released soon via his Foota Hype Music imprint
Meanwhile, Mavado is also currently embroiled in a lyrical feud with incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel while Aidonia now back from the first leg of his U.S tour continues to evade the media despite making a few concert appearances.
Speculations are that one of the reasons for the brewing tension between the two stems from the recent scolding of Popcaan by Mavado subsequently leading to the Unruly Boss issuing an apology via his official Instagram page to the 'Beat &Teach' singer.
