After receiving the nod of approval from industry stalwarts Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley and award winning journalist and broadcaster Winford Williams as one of the artiste to watch for 2017. Recording artiste Jae Prynse (@direaljaeprynse) continues to see an upsurge in his popularity.
Last week the singer's career got another major boost after his thought provoking single 'Try Harder' [WATCH OFFICIAL VIDEO] was premiered on BBC 1Xtra in Britain and Irie Jam Radio in New York City simultaneously. The outlets are two of the biggest stations catering to Reggae music on their respective continents and an endorsement of such for a burgeoning artiste denotes he must be doing something right.
According to Seani B of BBC 1Xtra, "This is the kind of message we need to start the New Year with, if you do something and someone tells you No .. just say OK and tell yourself you're gonna Try Harder". Similar sentiments were echoed by Dubbmaster Chris of Irie Jam Radio while admitting he will be throwing his full support behind the record.
Currently signed to Live MB Music, Jae Prynse explained that just as he did with Concrete Jungle, he again used his personal struggles to write the lyrics for Try Harder, and he feels that the motivational force of the song has enabled it to solidly connect with critics and fans alike.
