The St James police have asked entertainer Tommy Lee Sparta to turn himself in for questioning. It is not the first time that the artiste, whose real name is Leroy Russell, has been listed by the police as a ‘Person of Interest’.
Last June, the Montego Bay-based deejay was declared to be wanted for questioning by the Kingston Eastern police in relation to a shooting incident that took place in that division.
Commanding officer for the St James Police Division, Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, has indicated that the police want to question Tommy Lee Sparta in relation to some incidents in Flanker in the parish.
SSP Nesbeth has also indicated that a number of men who were last Friday asked to turn themselves in to the police, have so far not done so.
The men are Ryan Peterkin otherwise called ‘Ratty’ and Richard Anderson, otherwise called ‘Cruise’, both from Cambridge; Oswayne Jarrett, otherwise called ‘Ski Mask’ and Marlon Samuels, otherwise called ‘Brutal’, both from Barrett Town.
The cops are also interested in speaking with Christopher Boyd, otherwise called ‘Plank’, from Flanker; Stephano Johnson, otherwise called ‘Sarge’, from Hampton; Marcus Robinson, otherwise called ‘Killa’, and Shaniel Luton, both of St James.
