Fresh from a stint in Freeport, Bahamas Dancehall superstars Aidonia,  Govana and other members of the 4th Genna family on Tuesday morning (April 11th) took time out of their hectic schedule to pay tribute to fallen comrade Llamar Dookie.

The entertainers and their label mates went to the graveside of Dookie at Dovecot Memorial where a fresh wreath was laid and a moment of silence observed as they reflected on happier times. Following the tribute Aidonia and Govana took to their respective Instagram accounts to share their thoughts.

While Govana (@govanagenna) lamented, "1TIME 4 DOOKIE...NEVER LET GO BRO @peakstatefilms"

The late Dookie more popularly known as 'Peakstate' died a year ago as a result of injuries he sustained in a car accident while accompanying Aidonia and the team to a football match in Montego Bay, St. James. The car in which he was travelling flipped and landed in a ditch due to a blown tyre in the vicinity of Braco, Trelawny. Dookie was the official videographer for the camp. Ricardo Dryden aka 'Chiffon', another member of the camp was also seriously injured but has since made a full recovery.

Meanwhile, Aidonia now back in the studio is expected to depart the island later this month for a pair of assignments in Buffalo, New York and New Jersey. An official video is also afoot for ‘Banga’ which has amassed over a million plays in audio streams online.
