Is The War Fake? Beenie Man & Bounty Killer Shares Stage
Based on the plethora of diss tracks being traded by dancehall icons Bounty Killer and Beenie Man, many would believe that there is an intense feud brewing between them.
However, it appears the lyrical feud may just be a hoax and another publicity stunt by the dancehall kinpins.
This was confirmed on Monday when the two deejays took the stage at the popular 'Money Mondays' held at Club Impluse in New Kingston declaring to fans that the so-called tension between them is only a friendly musical war, while hinting that the fans should not take it personal a let it escalate beyond that point.
Shocked as some may be others found the announcement comforting, noting that they didn't want a recurrence of the rift that existed during the Gully/Gaza era. Bounty Killer and Beenie Man have been musical nemesis since the early 1990s.
The current animosity between the Alliance leader and the Dancehall doctor was triggered when Bounty Killer twitted disparaging remarks about Beenie Man and his estranged wife D'Angel while they were going through divorce proceedings.
