Accomplished music powerhouse Notice Production known for hits such as Holiday, Summertime and This Life has returned to the fore with a brand new project titled the Heart & Soul Rhythm.
With a solid production team comprising of; Kirk Bennett (drums), Kevon Webster (piano), Nigel Staff (keyboard – strings), Winta (synthesizer & organ), Riff Raff (keyboard – organs) and Ranoy Gordon on Guitar it’s obvious why industry gurus Bounty Killer, Robert Livingston and Donovan Jermaine has given it the nod of approval calling it a ‘prolific project’.
The carefully crafted compilation features conscious crooners; Jah Cure, Chuck Fenda, Hezron, Chevaughn, Christopher Martin, Further Notice alongside dancehall sensations Richie Loops, Swedish based singer ‘Million Styles’ and acclaimed lyricist Busy Signal. The Heart & Soul Rhythm is the label’s first official release for the upcoming festive season but will be complimented by a series of singles later in the year from acts such as Chedda among others.
According to producer turn artiste Unga, “the project was inspired by a need for change within the music and so we decided to return to the roots by incorporating live instruments which is symbolic of that authentic reggae but with a modern swing.”
Unga further stated, “we are also trying to promote live music hence the new thrust with our band Furthernotice, they recently scored their first No.1 in Canada with ‘In My Bed’ which proves there is definitely a market for the genre.”
Heart & Soul is expected to be officially released in early November and will be available on iTunes and other digital platforms.
Meanwhile, preceding this new project the label has released a new single titled ‘I Am From Jamaica’ for dancehall enigma Chi Ching Ching.
