Is there a feud brewing between Dancehall recording artiste Demarco and Gaza prefect Popcaan? That's the burning question being asked in the streets as speculations run rampant since the release of a new viral video by the 'Fallen Soldier' singer.
The video titled 'Kingston City' sees a somewhat sinister sounding Demarco freestyling on Rick Ross's 'Stay Scheming' instrumental while taken lyrical shots at the fast emerging Popcaan with the lines:
"25 million views that means me more popular
tell dem say talk is cheap so we nuh hardly speak
when we a walk the street, dem a say Marco dweet
nuh mek mi mek forensic white chalk di street
yaaaaooooww dem thief mi style and nuh ask mi fi it"
Surprisingly the video also features appearances from Hitmaker and selector turn artiste Quick Cook who ironically is featured in Popcaan's - Party Shot video.
Meanwhile, dancehall aficionados are currently trying to figure what could be the reason for Demarco's disgruntled rants. Efforts to contact both Demarco and Popcaan for a comment proved futile but we will keep you posted as the saga unfolds.
