Last weekend dancehall singjay Konshens billed to perform at 'Spring Fever' at the West
Indian Social Club in Connecticut had his concert ended prematurely.
In the wee-hours of Saturday morning, as the artiste began making
his way to the stage so did the Connecticut Fire Marshall. The Subkonshus entertainer then approached the stage stating, "How Da Party Ya Look So"
and that was it, the response prompted the Fire Marshall to immediately shut down the event citing the venue as being overcrowded, evident by the packed house and long line outside the venue.
Unhappy that he was unable to perform for his fans, Konshens reassures his fans that he will be back to Connecticut real soon "Connecticut fans, you are the greatest, you showed me enormous amount of love and I will be back. To all my female fans, I didn't get to sing Gyal a Bubble but I promise I will be back to sing that for you all soon".
Following the announcement emcee and promoter, Nikki Z said, "I want to thank my promotional team for all the hard work and energy they put into the promotion. I would like to apologize to the patrons who never got to see this great artiste truly perform,DNZ Productions hopes to bring Konshens back for a one on one that his fans will never forget! I would like to thank Konshens for his professionalism in handling the pre-mature ending. For the first time in years one artist shut down CT, Konshens Alone".
Konshens, now back in Jamaica is gearing up for New York, he's to perform at his
first college show at the Borough of Manhattan Community College on May
11th, alongside Destra Garcia.
