Ninja Man Talks About Prison, Politics and Vybz Kartel

Popular Dancehall deejay Desmond Ballentine better known as Ninja Man now out on J$2 million dollar bail has been very low key since his release from Prison. However last weekend the veteran entertainer got vocal in an interview with noted television personality Anthony Miller of Entertainment Report.

During the interview Ninja Man spoke about a wide range of topics include life behind bars, the political landscape with Prime Minister Portia Simpson, opposition leader Andrew Holness and embattled deejay and leader of the Gaza camp Vybz Kartel.

Other interesting points raised throughout the interview included the current state of Dancehall in Jamaica and the void that now exist since Vybz Kartel premature departure. In closing Ninja Man said he's back and has no intentions of returning to prison despite his murder case scheduled for mention on July 16.

Meanwhile, as part of his bail condition Ninja Man had to surrender his travel documents and report to the Oracabessa Police in St. Mary on a daily basis with the exclusion on Sundays. Another condition is the imposing of a stop order and curfew stating that the entertainer should not be seen on the streets between the hours of 8:00pm -6:00am.

Ninja Man and his son are charged jointly with Dennis Clayton and Seymour Samuels who were granted bail as well. They are charged with the murder of Richard Johnson who was shot dead in his yard on March 16, 2009.
