Jah Vinci Collaborates With Mavado On New Single

Talent Jamaican singers Jah Vinci and Mavado recently collaborated on a new single entitled “Live To Make” produced by one of dancehall’s most decorated producers Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor.  Jahvinci’s first major breakthrough on the music scene was by way of a collaboration with Vybz Kartel entitled: Dem Shud A Memba Say on the Day Rave Riddim also produced by Di Genius. Even though the effort between the Gully god and Jahvinci has only hit the airwaves in early February, the reviews and feedback have been phenomenal.

Jahvinci’s and Movado’s inimitable talent coupled with the skillfully crafted up-tempo rhythm, is sure to send shockwaves across the length and breadth of the music industry.  Jahvinci and Movado had been in dialogue for some time and shortly after talks ended, the most talked-about single was born.

According to Jahvinci’s manager, Craige “Dallasign” Fullwood of Tripledose Production, the “Live to Make” single had been creating a buzz on social media such as Twitter, Facebook and BBM even before it had been released.  He further commented that fans had eagerly anticipated the outcome of the song. “From we put the word out there that a Jahvinci/Mavado single was soon to come everyone start talk about it,” he said. The single speaks to haters/enemies as the melodious chorus done by Jahvinci states that they live to make them weak.  “The song a shot! A the two baddest singer in a dancehall” one person exclaimed.

In an interview, Jahvinci expressed his satisfaction on his general achievements and particularly on the collaboration with Mavado as well as working again with producer Stephen McGregor.  In this regard he contends that “is a good look working with Stephen McGregor again. As you know a him gi mi the first hit, he is a talented producer.  I jus want to say nuff respect to Movado for including me on this single. The song is getting a great response in the streets so far, ZIP, IRIE, FAME and HITZ ah play it hard and this is jus a fraction of what to come as mi have a whole lot in store fi mi fans dem fi 2013.”
