Elephant Man To Return To Court In November

Popular dancehall deejay, Elephant Man, is scheduled to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on November 30 for the start of his trial on a charge of abstracting electricity.

The trial involving the colourful and lively entertainer whose real name is ONeil Bryan was expected to begin yesterday, however, a new trial date had to be fixed after Bryan's attorney Linda Wright, told the court that she was of the view that the matter was only scheduled for mention.

In addition, the investigating officer was also absent. Elephant Man who looked very calm as he stood in the dock sporting his usual bright red and orange coloured hair, then had his bail extended for him to return to court for trial in November.

The entertainer was arrested at his home on Hillcrest Avenue in Kingston on June 2, after it was allegedly discovered that he was using stolen electricity.
