The man, internationally renowned for coining the terms, “Nobody Canna Cross It,” and “Di Bus Can Swim” was leaving Jamaica House following a meeting with Information Minister, Daryl Vaz while heading in the direction of Barbican, St. Andrew. Suddenly, Clif-Twang heard sirens blaring behind his vehicle but didn’t think that they were trying to stop him.
In a radio interview, Clif-Twang explained the incident, stating that he kept on driving as he didn’t suspect he was being sought by anyone. The internet superstar continued to drive his vehicle before pulling over at a stop light, when the lawmen asked him if he didn’t realize that he was being stopped.
He then alluded to the cops that the car he was driving was a rental due for return later that day following further dialog, Clif-Twang was taken in by the Grants Pen Police where he was charged and issued a ticket, before being released.
This is the second instance in which Clif-Twang has been involved in a run-in with the law. Last month, Clifton was hauled off to the Family Court after his baby’s mother accused him of failing to provide adequate support for his children.
Meanwhile, Clif-Twang has taken his unique style to music; unveiling a single entitled “School Girl (Education is The Key).
