Elephant Man Facing Million Dollar Lawsuit, Will He Comply?

Renown Dancehall artiste, Oneil Bryan better known as Elephant Man may once again be facing the wrong side of the law as a result of alleged financial issues.

A prominent Jamaican designer is considering a lawsuit against the “Energy God,” alleging that he owes Jamaican $1 million in arrears for designer clothing. The designer’s lawyer is reportedly handling the case as he’s preparing a possible case against Elephant Man. The “Pon Di River” deejay was served documentation ordering that he pay his overdue bills within a few days. Should he fail to comply, legal action could be forthcoming in the near future.

It’s not the first time Elephant Man’s name has been highlighted with regards to possible financial issues. In July of last year, Elephant Man’s red Mercedes Benz was seized from his Hillview Crescent, St Andrew premises by the Tax Administration Department after the deejay failed to pay his taxes.

This past June, Elephant Man was dragged before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for allegedly stealing electricity from the Jamaica Public Service (JPS). Allegedly, one of the meters at Elephant Man’s apartment complex had no socket. Upon further inspection, law enforcement discovered an illegal connection directly linked to Elephant Man’s apartment room. Elephant Man’s trial regarding the matter will commence November 30th.
