Gaza Member, Pim Pim Arrested & Charged By Police

Pim Pim, another member of the Vybz Kartel led Portmore Empire who was being sought by police was arrested on Thursday, January 12, in relation to the conspiracy to pervert the course of justice charge laid against Vybz Kartel and Vanessa Bling o/c Gaza Slim.

On December 15, Head of the Criminal Investigation Branch Ealon Powell confirmed that Pim Pim was being sought by the Police. Pim Pim whose given name is Andre Henry was charged for attempting to pervert the course of justice and is set to appear in court on January 16.

Meanwhile, Kartel and Gaza Slim also known as Vanessa Bilng are charged jointly with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Slim who was in police lock up over the Christmas holidays was subsequently granted bail and his schedule to return to court on February 1 when the case will be mentioned.

Gaza Slim had reported that Clive 'Lizard' Williams, the man Vybz Kartel is accused of killing on August 16, assaulted her during a robbery in Havendale, St Andrew.

However, the police said they have evidence including showing that Gaza Slim and Kartel had invented the story.

Vybz Kartel, fellow Gaza member 'Shawn Storm, his designer Calvin ‘Moonie’ Haye and another man are charged jointly with the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.
