Rising dancehall star Chedda whose week-long U.S promotional campaign had to be extended due to the treacherous weather currently affecting North America is now back on local soil.
Chedda returned to the island a few days ago to shoot the medley video for his single ‘Hennessy Hail’ which continues to gain moment in the Canadian urban market.
Under the direction of D1 Productions out of Canada and newcomer Carlington Wilmot the project was shot in the Cassava Piece community and features Pamputtae, Shane-O, Canadian artiste Dudsy Mill and Crimist with cameos from Flexx, Mavado and other members of the Gully Squad. The video is expected to make its local premier in two weeks.
Meanwhile with his Blackspyda Records produced ‘Bad Inna Song’ and Zj Chrome’s ‘Bly’ enjoying favourable rotation on the FM airwaves, the artiste born Tyrello Johnson has released his first single for 2011 titled ‘Street Dreamz’ a very conscious composition which tells a gripping tale of the perils of ghetto life.
