DJ Calico Celebrates Birthday & Working On New Mixtape

Darkcide International selector DJ Calico also known as Sunjock Calico is today (Sat-June-23) celebrating his birthday. 

The jock on Friday night rang in his special day at the popular Tun Up Fridays at RT Plaza, Portmore along with a few close friends and party-goers.

Aside from being a senior jock with the Darkcide outfit, He's currently one of the front runners on the very popular Portmore based Suncity 104.9FM, occupying several prime time slots. These include Rewind Mondays (6:00-10:00pm), Currant Tuesdays (2:00-6:00pm) and Tun Up Fridays (10:00am-2:00pm).

Later this month, Calico along with stablemate Acid will release their official mixtape titled 'Hostile Takeover' on the Darkcide International imprint. The compilation will feature a number of new and pre-released material, interspersed with dubs and skits throughout. Another unique feature is the adaptation of a live party vibe despite being a studio mix. 

Fans can catch Calico and the Darkcide team (Sosick, Acid, Spawn) at several hot events over the Summer including: Guinness Club Hamma, Tun Up Fridays, Deluge, ColorH2O, Liquid Overdose, Knock Out, Lights Out, Dream Land, Twisted Nitro among others.
