Kim Nain To Release Debut Album November 23

Making steady in-rows locally and on the international front with her melodic sound and eclectic flow, multihyphenated songstress Kim Nain, fresh from a European and North American sojourn is set to release her debut album later this month.

The compilation titled, 'Deal Wid It', is an 11-track anthology slated for release on November 23 via the John John Music Group and DZL Records imprint. The project showcases not only the dichotomy of Kim Nain but her artistic versatility as she takes fans on an excursion through a myriad of genres including; Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hip fusions, R&B and Trap with the assistance of a few talented friends such as Agent Sasco, Bugle, Devin Di Dakta, Naomi Cowan, Destiny Sparta and Versi. Distributed by Zojak Worldwide the album will be available on all major digital platforms upon release.

After overawing audiences in Antigua, Dominica Republic, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and the United States of America earlier this year, Kim says the feedback from the aforementioned was the stimulus for the album as patrons kept asking for a body of work at the various events.

"Travelling and performing on the international circuit has exposed me to a lot of diverse cultures and social interactions, many of which have helped in crafting the feel and sound of this album. I never wanted to create just another reggae/dancehall album but something that would be truly representative of me as an artiste and all my experiences."

Celebrated for her fresh, organic and pulsating style, capped with a coy yet playful persona, Kim Nain says she hopes to leave an indelible mark with this inaugural effort and that fans and music lovers globally will be able to connect with the messages being presented in all eleven tracks.

"I feel a sense of release from my album. I’ve had all this music and energy bottled up for a long time and this body of work gives me a sense of release and opens a chapter of my story for the whole world to see and I’m ok with that. It’s my time to let go."

Jamaican born and bred, Kim has been dabbling into music since her infancy and is now poised to explode as she aims to scribe her name in the annals of music greats. Among her most noteworthy accomplishments are 'Sweat' featuring Natel and Mr Vegas which found its way onto the Top 20 list of various charts across Europe; two collaborations with California-based EDM group Bad Royale from Mad Decent; capped by a commendable performance at the 2018 instalment of Reggae Sumfest in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay.
