Beenie Man Heads To United Arab Emirates Next Month

Self-proclaimed 'King of the Dancehall' Moses Davis better known as Beenie Man, is set to headline a concert in the United Arab Emirates next month.

The event billed Escape 2 on December 6th will feature the Dancehall doctor live in the country's capital and second largest city Abu Dhabi. Dubbed the “ultimate dance party” this Jamaica-themed festival with an “island vibe” will feature support from both Jamaican and U.S based disc jocks, as well as Jamaican culinary delights.

When asked if he was looking forward to the performance Beenie man said, "Yes. It will be my first time performing in Dubai, but not the first time I have been there. A lot of the times I am in the airport waiting for a flight and the only time I see the city is when I go outside for a smoke. So it will be good to really visit, perform for the people and see how they live as well."

This will be Beenie Man’s second visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE)  this year, having performed at Chi@The Lodge in Dubai in May.

Known for a plethora of hits and delivering solid performances, Beenie is expected to rock Escape 2 which will be hosted at the Abu Dhabi City Golf Club.
