Teflon To Spearhead Children's Charity In St. Mary

Currently riding high with the singles ‘Love & Adore You’ and ‘Pedal’, the latter featured on the Dat Nuh Hard rhythm compilation, Reggae singer Teflon is set to spearhead a charity concert in his hometown over the festive season. The St. Mary native will play host to an annual treat for the children of his community as part of the philanthropic endeavours being embarked on by his company Yard A Love Records.

In a release to the Media Teflon says, “I am simply trying to do my part in assisting the children not only in my community or St. Mary but the wider Jamaica because everyone is aware that times are difficult so it’s important as an entertainer, role model and a citizen of this country that we do whatever we can to ease that burden while helping the next generation to progress positively. It’s the holiday season for them so I just want to see them enjoy themselves.”

Slated for Saturday, December 28th the outing will see a plethora of top flight entertainers and corporate entities lending their support to the worthy cause as both parents and children get to revel in the festivities associated with the season amidst enjoying clean family oriented entertainment.

Despite not being on this year’s staging of STING due to other professional commitments the benevolent Rastafarian singer says he want to use this opportunity to laud Mr. Isaiah Laing and the team at Supreme Promotions on their 30th Anniversary and for remaining committed to building the legacy of Dancehall and Reggae across the globe through their brand. Teflon last graced the stage of the Greatest One Night Show on Earth in 2010 where he delivered a spirited performance to the thousands in attendance.
Meanwhile, with the postponement of his European tour until early next year, Teflon is booked to appear at the LIME Christmas Mission Road Show on December 21st; IRIE FM Street Dance; Car Sexy; ahead of hosting popular radio jock ZJ Dymonds’ signature party ‘Over Rave’ at Margaritaville Ocho Rios on Christmas Eve.

Teflon’s ‘Love & Adore You’ recently topped the charts on CVM-TV Hitlist and Hype-TV VTX Countdown spending two weeks at the No.1 on each. Later this week the Rastafarian crooner is gearing up to premier the official video for ‘Pedal’produced by NS Music Enterprise. The video was shot under the watch eyes of Christopher Campbell of Icey Jace Film Factory.
