Demarco Talks Career, Buju Banton and Vybz Kartel Imprisonment [WATCH VIDEO]


International recording artiste Demarco now gearing up for a performance in Chicago later this week recently sat down with the team from Lyric DVD Magazine to share his thoughts on a number of topical issues.

Among the topics discussed in the almost ten minute long interview included his rise to stardom, how he got his start in the music business, working with American superstars like Missy Elliot and Beyonce, making the transition from the U.S music scene to Jamaica and the imprisonment of Dancehall icons Buju Banton and Vybz Kartel.

Alluding to his body of work, the 'Bun Up Road' singer was recently given a Lifetime Achievement award for his contribution to the Jamaica music industry and is also nominated in the 'Male Deejay of The Year' and 'Song of the Year' categories at the upcoming People's Choice STAR Awards slated to unfold on May 30th at the Waterfront in Downtown Kingston.

Demarco is also one of the headliners billed to perform at the inaugural staging of this concert.
