876ENT understands that rising Dancehall recording artiste Toya, who is also the wife of business tycoon and CEO of Downsound Records and the KLE Group, Joe Bogdanovich, died early this morning in the Unites States of America.
Toya, whose correct name is Latoya Alicia Jackson, had been ailing for some time now, with an undisclosed illness.
During her marriage with Joe Bogdanovich the couple had one child together, a son.
Toya who hails from St. Elizabeth after leaving H.E.A.R.T. has always had an affinity for the culinary arts and before delving into music, landed a job as a chef at the Jamaica Pegasus.
In recent time the singer has been absent from the Jamaican music scene and is best known for the singles Boss Lady, True Blessings and Hot Like Fire.
