Police Destroy 16 Acres Of Ganja In St. Elizabeth, But No Arrest

The St. Elizabeth police are reporting the seizure and destruction of large quantities of ganja during an anti-narcotic operation in the remote Bagdale Mountain area of Siloah, St Elizabeth on Tuesday.

The lawmen also reported a significant ammunition find during the operation.

The police said they seized 121 assorted cartridges including 41 shotgun cartridges and 300 pounds of compressed ganja.

They destroyed 16 acres of mature ganja plants and about 200 pounds of ganja seeds.

There were no arrests.
